The Planning Policy Section on the Bromsgroce District Council Website deals with all matters relating to Planning Policy as well as the administration of Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings and Tree Preservation matters.
The principal responsibility is the production of the Bromsgrove District Local Development Framework.

Applications for planning permission are dealt with by Bromsgrove District Council in its capacity as the Local Planning Authority for the District of Bromsgrove.
The Planning Committee (previously known as the Planning and Highways Committee prior to the reorganisation of the Council's decision making process in February 2001) considers the applications on the basis of planning policies, representations from third parties and the recommendation of the Council's Head of Planning Services.
