The Parish Plan

Our Vision for the Future . . .
The Parish Council adopted the Barnt Green Parish Plan at its meeting in July. This is:
A Plan
to establish the key facilities and services needed to improve local quality of life.
A Plan to identifiy the key issues if the Parish is to maintain its semi-rural character, be seen by its residents as an attractive place in which to live and be capable of meeting their aspirations.
A Plan, through which the local community will be better able to influence those agencies that have the responsibility to provide various services to the residents of the Parish.

WCC leader Dr George Lord said: “The Barnt Green Parish Plan is a thoroughly researched document representing the considered views of your Parish members. It is a praiseworthy document revealing your aspirations for the future of your area. I accepted it on behalf of the Council and, though I can give no promises to meet some of the requests, they will be considered by the appropriate Committee.
Well done all of you!”
